This past weekend marked the summer solstice and Midsummer’s Night—the official arrival of summer in the Northern Hemisphere. The solstice, the longest day of the year, is a time when the sun seems to pause at its highest point in the sky, bathing everything in golden light. It’s a moment that has been celebrated across cultures for centuries, symbolizing abundance, warmth, and the height of the growing season.
The weather has been scorching, but I’m not complaining—after months of cooler days, the heat feels like a proper welcome to summer. There’s something magical about this time of year: long evenings, vibrant skies, and the feeling that anything is possible. Summer is here, and I’m soaking it all in.
Do you like my new Celtic inspired card, I am doing an oracle card course and trying my hand at designing some cards. Yes I am still crocheting and some new designs will be appearing very soon.
